Qualifying for the Big East Tournament
This game becomes even BIGGER, because if we had lost we would have been 2-3 in conference, sitting at 10th or 11th in the conference and only a game ahead of the bottom teams. Only the Top 12 teams qualify for the Big East Tournament. We put ourselves in good position to lock up a Big East Tournament slot. Here's the Big East standings right now:
