On to Louisville - what to expect
I watched them play UConn the other night. They were playing without Dean and had one of their worst shooting games in the Pitino era. They didn't make a 3 until the near end of the game.
With our luck however, I assume they will have Dean back (since now our game is a must win for them) and they'll shoot 80% from 3!

Padgett has size and has looked good of late. Not sure we can get a win at Freedom Hall but if we could it would be a humongous win.

They went 2-20 from 3pt (and #2 came with about 30 seconds left). I'll bet a kidney that they burn it up from behind the arc on Wed. Mail that one in.

Yep... look at Rutgers yesterday. Almost beat us with that.

I think we'll win that game only because I see our seniors being really up for it, and Louisville's young players don't realize how big the game is. UC isn't their main competition for the conference lead anymore.......UConn, Syracuse, Georgetown, etc........are the new kings of the hill.............we're just an old buddy coming in to mix it up. I don't think the hype for this game will be that great. UC is a wounded dog, and Louisville is too along with falling on their face somewhat. If they beat UC it won't jumpstart their season and personally, I think their players are throwing in the towel a little bit. They've been ranked all season and I think they believed the headlines. UC has been battling all season against all odds............and I think we're better prepared for the showdown than they are.

We shall see. Of course, our margin of error is zero, so you never know what's going to go wrong when we play. Hopefully Connor Barwin can get a double double. ;-)

They are 1-4 with 3 home losses in conference. If they lose to UC at home they would be in danger of not even making the Big East Tournament (only the top 12 teams in conference go to MSG). This game is plenty big enough for them. Forget the big rivalry, Huggs not being here, etc.

They will come out like this is for all the marbles. We are going down to Freedom Hall. Should be a fired up venue.

Padg, Dean, TP and Brian Johnson... I really don't see how we pull this one out.

If Lousiville were to lose this game, the wheels woud certainly come off. I expect to get out rebounded by 20.

I saw something disturbing during the Rutgers game. Cedric was dribbling in from the top of the key. I have no problem with White doing that, but it concerns me. With Cedric driving from the key, it only leaves Hicks rebounding.

Maybe it was just a single game adjustment...it would concern me if Ced is leaving only Hicks to rebound. If his shot is long and Eric is opposite side, we have a chance for an offensive board. If Ced shoots it short, there is almost noway we can be in rebound position... IMO
