Here's to hoping that we can get you another 3 month ban
I've been banned from many boards, my friend. For instance, I am permanently banned from Coogfans because I preferred Terrance Broadway at quarterback over David Piland. No biggie.
I call them like I see them. Always have, always will. A ban is nothing to be ashamed of if you are a legit fan of the board topic that posts in the interests of the said topic. Otherwise, you're just a troll who is trying to rile people up.
I've been on these boards since 2003. I once adhered to a self-imposed ban because I lost a bet to oldtiger. I have no problem keeping my mouth shut.
OTOH, you obviously do. Your "admiration" of Quo Vadis says all we need to know. You don't exactly use rep points to show support of good posts. You're simply a fanboy. Nothing more.

BB... I don't like being a hard ass n sh*t. Up until his banning I actually liked the dude. I kinda wished people on this site wasn't so damn closed minded and not willing to have quality debates with someone that had a totally different opinion. A different opinion doesn't make someone a troll. It is what it is tho. He didn't last a day w/out creating hokie78. Like I said last night, if he can last 3 months w/out creating an alias... he'll be freed.

Really? I am so surprised.
No need to be surprised. :) I've been banned on killerfrogs many times. I'm a staunch advocate of my schools.

It's all dependent how that different opinion is expressed. If a poster's vocabulary is so limited that all discussions are reduced to name calling, it gets in the way of honest debate.
SpookyBoogie, while he didn't resort to name calling, was on one end of the spectrum regarding articulating a point and ScreamShatter from Temple is on the other.
I haven't agreed with Scream's expansion thoughts, but we've both been respectful/civil. There's never a reason to ban a respectful poster. After all, just how hard is it to be semi-respectful and mostly civil?...at least at an acceptable level?

I know man I get it, you've always been a very fair mod (unlike the newer mods, seriously though..how are some of these people actually mods?). I think the fact that the new school's fans quickly became the majority on the board doomed those of us who shared a different opinion about the league. Most UC fans don't even post here anymore because they know it is a waste of time, and I know the departing school fans rarely come here either. It is what it is, I don't think Quo (or anyone like him) deserve to be banned...even I got a 1 month ban...but once the ban has been given out you have to deal with it (something I didn't do either).

Rerun, You are hilarious. Your postings are the same now as they were when we still had Rutgers, Boise, UL, etc.
I haven't seen any layers at all in your analysis throughout realignment. One would think that there would be a new evaluation with each shift, to show an advanced appraisal. However, with you it's been straight from day 1.
That's why you aren't taken very seriously, and many view you as a troll.
OTOH, most UCONN fans I've seen have been overwhelmingly classy in regards to the incoming programs and their fans. We're all in the same boat, whether it meets with your wet dreams or not.

Quo's difference of opinion was fine. It was his intellectual dishonesty and back handed compliments I had a problem with. And also, changing an argument or claiming a "misunderstanding" when he was proven wrong on more than one occasion. Good riddance.

Perhaps if you and others would try to understand where he is coming from rather than attacking his opinion; life would be easier for all. As stated above, it just seems like gang activity. Anyone someone has the slightest of a different opinion he gets run off the board and called a troll. I've seen that happen at least 2 different fellas the past year alone. And to be straight the f*ck up w/ you, your quoted post was "Exhibit A" of what shouldn't be posted. Ever hear of ignoring rather than attacking.
Bearcats#1... I hear ya, can't even argue that point.

I've never had the need to refer to another poster as a "moron" or "idiot" to get my point across or the need to refer to another program as "garbage" or "trash" to describe their performance on the field/court/etc. In many cases, I learn more about the poster using those hot button terms than the person/program that they are describing.
I don't agree with Bounce very often, if at all; but because of his frame of reference is different from mine. He appears to consistently see a half empty glass where it's a bit more full from my perspective. Everyone has the ability and choice to give value or ignore comments and/or posters.
FWIW, even though Homer was quoted and referenced here, none of my comments were aimed specifically at him.
You guys haven't figured Quo yet?
1. The. AAC is and will be a failure to him no matter what it does.
2. He couldn't care less what you guys say about USF in trying to talk back to him.
