Miami dominated Duke from start to finish. Four starters in double figures, guard Shane Larkin with a double double (pts/rebs) and a slam dunk. That game was the loudest I have ever heard the BankUnited Center. Miami basketball is FOR REAL... Next up, Florida State.

Thoughts?

Congratulations are in order. Anytime an upstart, not only beats Duke, but blows them out, its a great win. Isnt Duke still without a starter? Not saying thats an excuse because I dont think that would have made a huge difference when you get blown out by almost 30 points.

Miami's coach is one of the best. Took George Mason to the F4. Miami is a darkhorse for the F4 this year. You don't want them in your bracket.

Watching some replays/highlights of the game I thought the same thing. Coach Jim Larranaga is one of the best coaches in the country, without a doubt, and is probably in the running for National Coach of the Year, depending on how the rest of the season goes.

My reaction from the game: W-O-W!!

Congrats Canes! Beating Duke is monumental to your hoops program. Spanking them made it that much better.

GREAT win by Miami I was very impresses.

Nice to see some positive words about the ACC from Larranaga after the game, he said something like How he wanted to coach in the ACC with the greatest schools and best competition with Duke and Carolina, and only sees it getting better with the 4 new schools. Thanks Jim, we trying!
