It is finally annouced after many years of trials,planning,and building support.Anyway where do you guys think they'll go SoCon? Big South? OVC?

I went to a basketball game there once. Honestly I'll be shocked if they even sell out their first game. I don't mean that to be rude, but they didn't even have a student section at the basketball game i went to, much less one with people in it. Announced tickets were something like 1200, but I'd be shocked if there were 300 people at the game. They had an awesome scoreboard though.

Also remmeber that KSU is a school of close to 25,000 more than Georgia Southern,and there not Miami's 12-13 team lol.(Remember that game where basically no one was there.)

Actually think the CAA is possible, but likely the Big South first (especially if Liberty is gone). Would be surprised if Northeastern and Hofstra are around much longer, amd well as Delaware, JMU, and GMU could all be gone too. The CAA could well need all of Liberty, ETSU, and UTC to maintain a reasonable footprint, and thereafter add KSU.

While Ga State had a big lead on KSU, by 2020 that could be different. KSU is almost an exurb team that will gain support in football, unlike their other sports, in the NW Atlanta metro suburbs.

I hear the Big East is accepting new members. Average 15k fans a year and you're in. Simple as that.

When Kennesaw St first announced it had interest in adding football a few years, one of the visions stated was about getting in the Big East some day .

maybe back to the SEC?

If Georgia Southern is out the door, I'd think the SoCon would bring in Kennesaw State. Mercer could sneak ahead of them, but it would be inexcusable of the SoCon not to have a member in Georgia. KSU is closer to UTC and WCU but not so close it duplicates a market.
