I've got a few phone calls out but from a few public GH statements I would say that someone or several someones are about to pull a Boise. I do have pretty good info (and I think others on here have confirmed) that Banowsky has held the stance since the beginning that if anyone wants to come back there are no fees, and no hard feelings, well except for here.

I would love to keep Tulane and ECU, because they have not officially left. I would welcome UH, Memphis and even SMU back with open arms. But would they legitimately consider a 22 team league? My brain is starting to hurt...

Memphis to PAC12

ECU to the SEC

And all of the C7 schools announce going 1A in football within 4 years.

I'm sure CUSA would consider it. One less conference means the pot gets bigger for the MWC, CUSA, MAC, and Sun Belt.

Also we'd have a ton of huge markets and that means lots of money right?

Not necessarily.. If the contract didn't change, we'd have less money I think. I could be wrong, someone who's more versed with this help me out.

Could you imagine a conference with all those folks?

Could we see an east/west split that is more of an alliance than a conference?

I think it's a pipe dream honestly.. I mean does anyone believe that C-USA would absorb the BE?

If it did happen, if everyone backed out, what happens to Cincy, UConn, and USF.. 2 used to be in the old C-USA.

I honestly think if it did happen, SMU and Houston look to MWC..

I definitely don't think it would happen, I was just saying I think CUSA would consider it. CUSA was considering a merger with 20+ teams anyway...
