Taking over for one of our most successful ADs ever will be a big chore.

No they have been loaned out to the Cincinnati P.D. to investigate some kind of Thanksgiving stunt by a radio station in Cincinnati where live Turkeys were actually dropped from a helicopter. Apparently no one at the station knew that turkeys couldn't fly

Holland should be the Conference Chair once everything is sorted out.

Or, y'know, tomorrow. Wouldn't he do more good for ECU at conference HQ?

Adds a subtle subplot to the ECU-NCSU game this fall, as we have NIU's AD and they have NIU's coach.

Not to mention that NCSU's AD is an ECU alum.

ECU dropout, if you want to be a little more technical (and twist the knife).

Andy and TH do have certain similarities. Both were raised in small town NC, TH grew up in Clinton. Both are cool under pressure and in fact sometimes seem to be the only person with any common sense it the room. Both are great leaders. I think minus Barney that was a good analogy. :>)

I just wanted to know, Did ECU fans still want to go with the fading oBE as Football only with new natural instate rival (UNC-CHARLOTTE) joining as full C-USA in a year or 2?

I think they should stay and rebuild C-USA. I don't see the benefits in partial oBE.

1) ECU won't be a partial member.
2) Our natural in-state rivals are NC State and UNC. Since we aren't in a conference with them it doesn't matter.

Charlotte would have been ok if we were stuck in C-USA but really doesn't matter at all if we have the chance to leave for greener (even if only a shade greener) pastures.
