Louisville Basketball worth $38.5 million!

It’s another great year to root for Louisville. The Cardinals won a second consecutive Big East tournament title in a thrilling 78-61 victory over Syracuse. The team’s success this year led to a No. 1 seed in the upcoming NCAA tournament, which Louisville hasn’t missed since 2006. And, once again, Louisville is college basketball’s most valuable team, now worth $38.5 million, up from $36.1 million last year.

The Ville bb is a cash machine. Surprised to see Duke lose a couple of spots. UNC also in top 5. SU comes in at #10. When Duke gets back together, the Acc will have 4 schools in the top 10.

The top earning teams nationally all excel in the areas of donation and ticket sales (i.e. they don't just rely on TV$). It's good to see ACC teams doing well in both basketball and in football.

1. Louisville $38.5mil
3. North Carolina $32.8mil
9. Syracuse $19.2mil
11. Duke $17.1mil
16. Maryland $15.1mil
20. NC State $13.1mil

Article claims Pitt is likely to reemerge in the top 20 when in the ACC. Also says Syracuse should skyrocket next season due to the Aircraft Carrier Game and ACC.
