Growth of this board.
Recently there was a thread about why some fan bases are less represented. I've noticed recently this board has had around 20 guests everyday. And I just wanted to make a comment on how much this place has grown.

While a large percentage of the posters are from 'Cuse, Pitt, and Louisville, we've got a good amount of UNC and VT fans also. Every ACC fan base is, at least, represented by one or two posters, even if they don't post much.

If you're a guest and you're reading this, consider creating an account, especially if you're a fan of an ACC school.

Hopefully this place continues its steady growth. 04-cheers

While many teams have their own message boards, there aren't many places for ACC fans to congregate in one place and discuss issues relevant to the conference. It satisfies a good niche.

The diversity makes this board special. It isn't dominated by one or two schools. It would be great to get some consistent noncatdaddy-related Clemson posters.

Acitually really enjoy the respectful insightful discussion with a broad set of fans. Even broader CSNBBS boards tend to be much more pleasant to read learn and discuss.

Unfortunately many msg boards in the south including boards focused on va tech really have a attitude of intolerance; and many interject lots of tea party positions . It is if you don't drink the kool aid you are called out and even threatened . Many like the folks stalking in the west va boards. That tone makes you just want to quit and ignore the forum.

Thanks for sponsoring a great forum

Ditto.

I don't follow the individual school boards much. Not much chatter there. I still prefer the ACC board for its diversity.

The pay boards are filled with hard core fans that don't want to hear any other ideas - good or bad. On this board I'm told my idea is good in one post and bad in the next. I truly believe all my ideas are awesome but I don't mind being told otherwise. There is usually a reason attached. Not just a "You are an idiot!"

Specific team boards do take on an entirely different mentality. I've been banned before on the Syracuse board for arguing my opinion. 03-lmfao

Great to see so many enthusiastic Syracuse, Pittsburgh, and Louisville fans on here---just what the ACC needs to help build some great new rivalries. Virginia Tech had some memorable FB games with Pitt and Syracuse back in our Big East days, and Virginia Tech/Louisville could become a great Border War if only we were able to play each other in football every year. Just wish the ACC would switch our permanent cross-Division rival with Virginia's--let them have Boston College in exchange for VT pairing up with UL. Anyway, this Board should get much livelier once all three new schools are playing an ACC schedule.

I have just started making posts a couple weeks ago. I hope another UVa fan joins me. It's depressing if other ACC fans only hear from the state of Virginia via the Hokie viewpoint!

I guarantee come 2014 there will be a surge of Louisville fans come here. I really like the adult type discussion that we have on this board. 04-cheers

Yeah I used to be active alot on here, however, I am getting back to it. I used to have a lot of debates on here with BE fans about the ACC and BE comparison
