What they can do is what I hope USM will do: abandon the conference issue for a while and just focus on getting good home games and selling tickets to both teams' fans. It's not a hard sell in either case. We both get some pretty OK visiyors already. ULL had a home game against A&M not so long ago. Now, they're adding a huge card to their hand. They're looking at a lot of $50 plus tickets sold if they play their hand right.

there are countless other similarly attended games. dfw only supports a winner, or comes out when they know who we're playing.

0-12. being in mississippi (aka the poorest state in the country).

Wow, you are just on a roll. We are just no match for your brain power. Next time I talk to my buddy Ricky V., I will just have to get him to admit what a backwards hick he is.

RV is pretty terrible. So that was a good insult?

Arkansas State, I don't want Tech having to go up against ULL if they were to built a stadium like that

So you're just conceding like that??

I feel like I need some sort of ejector seat or parachute right now.

If CUSA does any future expansion, I would like for ULL to be the next team. They have the best overall appeal IMO.

Conference affiliation won't matter, La Tech will have to recruit against the Cajuns regardless.

It is in the best interest of CUSA to have a competitive West Division with close rivalries. La Tech, USM, Rice and UL would all be drive-able games for the Cajuns and Bulldawgs.

I see our ceiling about the same as ECU. I do not see us getting the call for the BIG XII, but stranger things have happened ie Tulane.

Tulane is in New Orleans.....market.

If they build that stadium they won't give a flip what any of us think.

Best case scenario: they're the Texas-Austin of a new best-of-the-rest southern football-centric conference in which USM gets to be Oklahoma State.

We can whine about the last time ULL skunked us, or we can move on to their next attempt to skunk us.

We do acknowledge that our name is The University of Louisiana @ Lafayette. We choose to brand ourselves as Louisiana athletically. No different than 50 other universities in the country that does not use their official school name in athletic branding.

ULM had to change their name to go along with your name change, so what is to stop them from also branding themselves as Louisiana?

What about Tech and UNO? They're bigger than ULM.

I really don't think it matters. The system organization and the names of its schools are matters of history. Tech hangs onto that grudge to their own detriment. They're only helping ULL form an identity with all that adversarial BS.

And common sense. They're a regional college that's barely FBS material.
