Since y'all been here from the start I had to give you the news. And this is probably the hardest post I've had to made on this board. Took probably an hour to actually start typing. But my mom passed away this afternoon at the age of 48. Thx for all of the love and support from the board. Love each n everyone one of you.

My heart sank when I saw "final update". Thank you for keeping us up to date all this time. This is one of my favorite poems. It may give you some comfort.

Joey, my heart goes out to you. I am 50 yrs. old and my parents are in and out of the hospital every month. I feel your pain and wish I could somehow avoid my own future loss...

Your Mom was 2 years younger than me. I wish I could say or offer something of comfort. I can only offer that we all care....
