Pitt is so hard to read right now that its almost impossible to tell what kind of season we'll see. Is this offense just that explosive or is the defense that bad? Will Pitt need to score 30+ points every game to win every game? I do realize that some key pieces on the defensive side of the ball was out tho. It was really nice to see Clairton's own Kevin Weatherspoon have a fantastic spring game. Hopefully he has a chance to crack the lineup this fall. 2014 the WR starters could potentially be 2 Clairton grads in Weatherspoon & Boyd. How about that #BoutDat? But back to 2013 lol. I agree with my Pitt brothers above me that Pitt could range from 5-7 to 8-4. Pitt could certainly surprise if the offense is going to be that explosive and the defense doesn't have a step back. Won't truly know until the ball is kicked off against FSU. Shall be an interesting summer.

We didn't learn anything from the spring game and practices. Too many players were out. Also, it looks like Chryst spent the vast majority of the time teaching basics and getting the younger players involved as much as absolutely possible. The upperclassmen got very little playing time. Is this set up in spring the new normal, or is this Chryst trying his best to teach as much of his schemes to the players - or simply work on football fundamentals due to a lack of focus on both from the previous coaches? Who knows right now.
