AD Tim Pernetti Out at Rutgers
Pernetti Out.
Sad to see him go, but this was self-inflicted.
If Pernetti has to leave, so does Barchi.

RE: AD Tim Pernetti Out at Rutgers
Unfortunately, we can't can Barchi at this time. Losing the whole basketball coaching staff, Athletic Director, General Counsel and new President would create a massive amount of chaos and uncertainty. It would also make the University look incredibly unstable to donors/potential donors, students/prospective students, alumni, media, state politicians, etc.

Have you read the report yet? Not exactly "independent", but I feel for Pernetti.

BTW, Barchi looked like a buffon today. So did the BOT chair. The press destroyed both of them.

RE: AD Tim Pernetti Out at Rutgers
I definitely feel bad for Pernetti. He acted in good faith, but finds himself without a second chance at a job he clearly loved. Unfortunately, the press was never going to let us move forward with him. "Uncle Jim" will play guide on who to hire.
