Just saying this is out there now...

is there any indication that they are willing to overlook the immediate tv market that a school is located in? if not, it's a moot point.
I say ULL and Ark State are the most likely candidates for those spots.

Makes sense. Create two 8-team conferences for the most part and have a championship game at the end of the year. Would help with travel costs.

I could see JMU being a legitimate option of CUSA expands again.

Western schools most likely. UAB doesn't want to go west.

Actually, looking at the map, it would be one to the East and one to the West.

JMU - East
Arkansas State - West

This is the link. Fansofallthatisjmu has been hinting that jmu will decline the sbc for something better, than he posts this, and he hints toward tuesday. Put the pieces together. Sounds plausible to me. Im guessing jmu - east and arky st - west.

You'd have to be following both this and caazone to see trail of hints

Pretty positive JMU will announce nothing tomorrow. ULL and Ark State are definitely at the top and fit the C-USA map well. I think the dark horse may actually be GaSt. They stink at football, but they "have the market" and help get the Florida schools off an island.

There has also been a rumor for over a week now from various tweets from Tx State and UTEP beat writers that SBC will lose one more. That would fit into the CUSA West - Arkansas State and CUSA East - JMU. ULL will get blocked by La Tech and would make the west unbalanced.

The following quote is interesting because it telegraphs the potential additions. The only way that adding two changes the current geographical division split is if both teams come from either the West or the East. Although more likely the West, since UAB is the "floater" right now that would presumably go to the West if they stayed at 14.

I guess you could slide Ark State, WKU, and MTSU to the West and add UAB, Southern Miss, and an East addition to the East. I still think it's two teams to one side.

So if we assume that us and stAte are added, then the west is the four Texas schools, La. Tech, stAte, USM and then MTSU, WKU and UAB duke it out for who has to go west.

UAB probably doesn't care, they just don't want to have to go both ways all the time (TWSS).

Just wondering why you root for JMU so hard to go FBS? Would you root for JMU in a game between Miami and JMU? Honest question
