That's my plan. 10 game regular season. 16 team playoffs. All conference champs get a spot in the playoffs. No bowl games. Teams that don't make the playoffs play two post season games. Most teams play 13 games or less. A few teams play more than 13 games (or less than 12).

That makes perfect sense so it won't happen. The P5 want us to be the new FCS and thats exactly whats happening. 5 conferences fighting over one consolation bid to a bowl that doesn't even play for the NC is ridiculous.

Maybe if the G5 put their heads together and stopped acting like crabs in the hamper, they might be able to get some access to this cartel.

Consolidate the G5 into a three-tiered pyramid. The top twelve nationally are in Tier A. Tier B is split east and west. Tier C is split regionally.

Tier A champ has a much better shot at the autobid than any G5 now will ever have, as their schedule won't have the dead weight that a Charlotte or a Tulane would provide.

Pro/Rel ensures that the cream rises to the top while the dead weight falls to the bottom.

Of course it's crazy, but I truly believe it's the best chance we've got.

Yeah...

Pretty sure we're talking about the CFP, not a G5 specific playoff.

You were appropriately lampooned for your suggestion.

Where did you get a G5 playoff from that?

The whole point of this is to ensure that the twelve best G5 teams are playing each other throughout the year, negating the P5's "weak SOS" claim and increasing the attractiveness of the G5 champ.
