Shin Soo Choo is playing at a remarkable clip for the Cincinnati Reds. Now opponents have taken to hitting the leadoff hitter, usually in the back but sometimes legs and arms. Proper technique is to turn ones back into the ball as it comes at you. Not always possible in leg and arm area. Yesterday he was hit twice. Not sure why Reds teammates have not made a huge issue of that. No player on my team would be hit twice without an answer, and definately not a Miami Marlin. Period. Here is a story on Choo. Billy Hamilton who????? I say forget Hamilton, let him sit in Louisville, Choo is the man !!

I like Choo and he's doing really well in Cincinnati, but I'll admit that it was funny that one game against my Cardinals where he lost those two Yadier Molina fly balls in the sun. Of course that was the day we let up seven or so runs in the 9th, so that kinda was a buzz kill.

Big Reds fan here. Loved the trade for Choo the second it happened. His on-base skills at the top of that lineup are just what the doctor ordered. Big League Choo!
