Just a few powerful words:

"The fact is everyone signed it, everyone reviewed and researched it and everybody had the opportunity to not sign it." -- Syracuse AD Daryl Gross

Can we unrelease CatDaddy's ban for a week? I'd love to hear his take. He must have a new apocalyptic tale affecting Clemson.

NO! I think the best thing that we can do is be happy about the GoR/upped payout and forget that Catdaddy exists.

Didn't know Catdaddy was banned.

I just wonder how Tallgrass is taking the news...his take was the ACC was going to a Truncated ACC with the likes of ECU, Temple and Memphis etc. etc. That plus his so-called school got a Banner...which is actually a good thing for Tulsa.

I didn't know about Catdaddy. He probably doesn't like me at all but I had no problem with him.

This entire CR bull$hit had created a sort of "us against them" mentality with me over the past few months.

I know that most here don't like the whole partial membership thing. Truthfully, I didn't either at first (for exactly opposite reasons--thought 5 games too much).

But, I have come to appreciate the ND/ACC partnership and am very happy that the conference stayed together despite the "done deal" atmosphere and the Big Ten, SEC and Big 12 "threats" to carve up the ACC.

He tried to make a comeback under a different name but the Mods sniffed him out as I did. If he were more civil I wouldn't mind his POV, but diplomacy is not one of his strengths.

Or mutual respect and willingness to debate with an open mind.

Another interesting bit:

Quote:Former Big East Commissioner John Marinatto had said that the Big East was working on a similar agreement between its members before Syracuse and Pittsburgh decided to join the ACC.

Makes me wonder if the prospect of a BE GoR gave SU & Pitt a little nudge to start looking elsewhere?

Zactly...I know Cuse was holding long term informal convos with the ACC and the B1G...wouldn't surprise me if the ACC was tipped off. The ACC was where Cuse always wanted to go once the BE became unstable and underpaid.
