I don't. I don't mean to sound like a jerk but I don't want any more teams added to the ACC. It'd rob us of ND games and stretch out the cross divisional rotation. Keep it tight.

The program wouldn't have been shooting itself in the foot if it'd turned down a Big12 invite. It'd have been shooting itself in the head. But having said that, I never did like the idea of the Big12.

I know it wouldn't have earned us much money, but I was somewhat enthusiastic about the Big East with Temple, Navy, SDSU & Boise on board. I was hoping for eventually adding Air Force and BYU to make a strong western division.

But when it became evident that the coast-to-coast conference wasn't going to pan out, and then when Rutgers announced its departure, I went immediately into a deep despair. With even Rutgers gone, here was no hope, and I was sure UConn was next in line to get into the ACC.

But the fact that we got in is more than I ever hoped for. So beautifully have things worked out for us this year, that even the biggest atheist in Lexington would have to admit that God is a Card fan.

Sorry, WVU: You were the guinea pig, but the realignment experiment wasn't really perfected until Louisville took the cure.

Oh I'm ecstatic about Louisville being invited to the ACC. It's the best move for the school academically and that is the far most important thing in all of this. The fact that much of the Big East's best is in the ACC makes it that much sweeter. It would be perfect if Cincinnati can get an invite though. There would be nothing else to wish for as far as I'm concerned if the Bearcats get the call.
