I don't know. Don't underestimate the desire to make Florida's Sugar Bowl loss look less embarrassing by inflating Louisville's preseason ranking by the SEC pollsters.

I think Louisville starts around 6 or 7. No way would I rank THEEEEEEEE Ohio State above Alabama. I think Clemson is somewhere between 8 and the 12th slot ESPN put them. FSU seems about right for now.

I'd rank the Top 10 like this

1) Yes, this is WAY too early

2) After AL loses to VT, GA loses to Clemson, SC loses to NC, and FL loses to Miami... how are those teams supposed to be in the top 10?

It's not that. It's the schedule this year. I see them having the Boise St scenario where they keep getting jumped by 1 or even 2 loss teams

I think that the #10 ranking for ND is about right.

Talent wise I would put Louisville around 8-12 range...but schedule yes I can see us finishing in the Top 4.

I would rand Clemson a little higher. They have a good offense and are poised to win the ACC. FSU will challenge them but they have more questions to answer, including a QB to break in.

I personally think if Clem beats UGA they are too 5 worthy, Syracuse could be undefeated headed I to the game with Clem. Also when Miami beats Fla we will have another top 25 team

I wish they wouldn't come out with rankings until a few weeks into the season. But this is nuts...

I agree that the rankings shouldn't come out until Week 4. But this is always a great offseason topic.

I think many in the ACC are going to be really surprised on where the Louisville football program is headed and the huge amount of talent that we have quietly amassed,.
