FIU...

Do y'all have online streaming of your home games anywhere? How do you watch home games if they're not televised and you're not there?

Apparently, FAU doesn't.

But for FIU the answer is yes, at least until last year. We have our own "Panther Pass" that streams, or used to stream, every home game from FIU. There was a "season pass", as well as montly passes or "per game" pass as well, I believe. Whether that will continue or not I don't know. But the answer is yes, but apparently FAU doesn't.

I think from an exposure standpoint it still remains to be seen. We have averaged about 7-8 games on TV per year (as many as 10) with usually a couple getting nationally televised so right now I would say this year is going to compare relatively so to past years. I hate to risk sounding like I'm bragging but of the choices they had ESPN liked to put us on their networks quite a bit, because we were one of the few that actually drew good ratings in our home market. Ark St (and the Cajuns) started doing that well too but that's no surprise considering the run they've had the past two seasons.

The biggest difference will be the revenue from the TV contract. That will obviously be the biggest difference and much better.

I'm definitely interested to see how being off the ESPN family affects the exposure outcomes. Obviously, if we were put on CSS under the ESPN umbrella we could also be seen on ESPN3. Living in the mid-Atlantic that was a benefit I'm worried about losing personally. I'm somewhat of a freak when it comes to watching my teams. I don't like to go to a bar or have a big party. I want to hear the crowd reactions, the announcers, etc. if I can't be there in person, so what options will we have to see games streamed? At home it won't be a problem because our university puts on the games itself, but not sure what the streaming options are going to be otherwise.

FOX Sports adding an online platform called FOX Sports Go! that will be the online equivalent to ESPN3 or watchESPN.

RE: C-USA Preliminary TV Schedule Released
I've never had much luck finding those non-ESPN sports channels. I've had Cox and AT&T UVerse recently and all I get is BTN and ESPN. It just sucks that we're (supposedly) on those oddball channels.

If someone could show me a CSS broadcast, an FIU fan, and a piece of computer software that actually works as advertised, I think I'd believe in magic.

Seems pretty lame. Only 2 times that I see besides CSS. FAU/FIU was always on tv and we would be on 1 or 2 other times. Not a big difference.

At the very least it will be on ESPN3, but MAC hasnt released their syndicate and regional TV schedules yet.

Except for the fact that we draw bigger crowds than you. Oh and yes we play in a much better stadium than the sun bowl.

no you don't...an air conditioned dome is no effing place for college football. the sun bowl is classic and much more appropriate for college football than the dome you lease from the city...

utep always draws...down years or up years...this will be the first real season of opponents for utsa...i hope your attendance stays up...but i'm not gonna lie and say i think it will when you start to lose consistently...

Wait until about game 10 and you are 0-9 going into the Tulane game and lets see what crowd you have. Because I don't see you winning a game until maybe game 10. The 1st nine are at New Mexico, OK State, at Arizona, at UTEP, Houston, at Marshall, Rice, UAB, at Tulsa

Directv's sports pac, had it for ten years and never had a problem. Love it and will never go back to cable.

CBS likes three games in order of preference:
1) Military Academy,
2) Southern schools.
3) Old SWC schools.

Those three seem to get preferential treatment when it comes to CBS Sports/CBS-SN.
