Plus UTSA didn't lose very many players and TXST lost more.

They might be better than UTSA next year but I don't know on what you could base that conclusion.

They "should" be better based on how long they have been playing football, but somehow that didn't matter last season.

It's kind of strange how some programs can be so bad for so long at both major sports and somehow continue to exist at the D1 / FBS level. At least schools like UNLV, UTEP, Memphis, UNM & NMSU are/were recently bringing quality basketball to the table.
