Furthermore, we were one shot away from loosing that game. My point remains. If Memphis doesn't up the ante we should probably expect a mediocre to poor AAC showing, and an early NCAA exit.

Thankfully we have a relentless recruiter in Coach P. I'm actually confident that the freshmen and transfers joining with the returning guys can finally get over the "hump" we've been looking at the past three years.

I love all the "barely beat St. Mary's" comments I continue to read from certain posters. If barely beating a ranked opponent is going to be discounted then Memphis should get credit on the near misses when they lost to ranked opponents the previous 3 seasons. The last time I checked a win is a win and a loss is a loss.

The national champs "barely beat" us this season. That did not seem to matter much to NCAA tourney selection committee etc. "Barely beat" still counts as a W.

I've worked at 201 and Juvenile Court a lot, and before that, I was a social worker in the field. I have seen lots weirder situations than someone getting falsely accused of something twice. There are always real convoluted backstories to these types of deals.

I'll take my chances against East Carolina and Baylor... I'll be quite surprised if Dixon doesn't sign with Memphis... Dude is not only a grinder and a physical player but he can penetrates to the basket... He is a better coop than Geron Johnson ever was...

He could come off the bench to play the 1 or 2 position.. or he can easily start along Joe and let Geron play the 2 or 3 position.. Honestly, Dixon is that good... He will make us a contender for the NT.

About the naysayers and hypocrites... They said the same about Geron Johnson last year... Pastner wouldn't recruit this guy without doing his homework.
