My only complaint is having to wait another year for Louisville to join. I can't believe you couldn't bribe the ACC to let you in with Syracuse, Pitt and Notre Dame.

Can't wait to play Virginia, Wake Forest, NC State, Boston College, Clemson, Florida State and continuing our budding rivalry with Syracuse in Football and have our rivals from the BIG EAST in Notre Dame & Syracuse in Basketball along with playing NC State/Duke/UNC...04-cheers

Its because the Big will not add Maryland until 2014. I wish we were in the ACC for 2013, also. 04-cheers

If it could've been done in conjunction with dropping back to 8 games, we at least could've scheduled several ACC teams vs. U of L OOC!

Wish We could have for 2013 as well. Should be interesting in AAC this year though with all of the new faces in that league. We have a target on Our back as well as Rutgers.

from the link:

Quote:Swofford will ring in Monday's changes at the Nasdaq closing bell ceremony in New York with league representatives including Hall of Fame men's basketball coaches Jim Boeheim of Syracuse and North Carolina's Roy Williams along with Virginia Tech football coach Frank Beamer.

It's all part of a new world for the ACC.

''There's just potential opportunities that have never been there before and we need to recognize those, evaluate what's best for the future, and respect what has brought us to where we are today,'' Swofford said. ''We're still the ACC. Our cornerstones have not changed. We're bigger and better and stronger than we've ever been in our history.''
