RE: Which CUSA Teams have ECU for Homecoming this year?
I think the idea of homecoming being the most cupcake game you can find on your schedule has changed. Tulsa is ECU's homecoming game this year, and that's clearly not a game that anyone would view as easy. I doubt players or coaches use being someones "homecoming" game as much motivation anymore.

Why not a general homecoming opponents thread?

I'm excited about having ECU for Homecoming. Quality opponent with great football tradition. I bet we have a sellout.

I see UTSA is already set as HC. I think we should have went with Nov 2nd vs USM as HC.

So we are HC for the Herd. Figured we would be HC for at least 3 schools. Do you guys not like the matchup & prefer a better known opponent?
We have UAB.

Ah the old "I bet we have a sell out" discussion. I just don't see it. Let me get the obvious out of the way, if we are worse than 3-2, if we lose to any of WCU, Memphis or FAU I'd put the odds at about 1% that we sell out for ECU. At 3-2, with losses to UNC and BYU, I'd still say it's a long shot, 4-1, with a win over UNC, I'd say odds increase greatly, but still not great, 4-1 with a win over BYU is probably better due to it being the week before ECU, if we were 5-0, I'd like to think we'd sell out, but I'm not betting on it, been let down too many times in the past, provided we're 3-2, I'd eexpect somewhere in the neighborhood of 28k.

The largest crowd we've ever had was for Ga. Tech in 2011 and we were 0-1 after losing a heartbreaker by a field goal at Purdue the week before. I disagree with you. There is a lot of excitement this year much like 2009 when our guys won 10 and finished the season with a seven game run and a Fedora spanking in NOLA.
The bigger question is have you bought your season tickets and will YOU be part of the 31,000 there to support the Blue Raiders?
