How many home games does UNCC have for 2014? Can you go on the road for a replacement game or do you really need a home game?

Correct! but Charlotte can't count this as year 1 of transition, can they? SO they won't be bowl eligible until 2016?

I agree with that. However, at least the explanation makes sense. I suspect what we can look for now is a well paid away game against a high powered BCS school. Anyone care to join in the conjecture? Texas A&M has room for another OOC. I kind of like that idea. Gig 'em Monarchs!

The kick in the nuts is that they weren't cancelled because of a Virginia or Texas A&M, they were cancelled because we didn't want them on the schedule (allegedly for FCS reasons).

ODU still supposedly has 2 open dates and would rather buy out Charlotte (60k) and pursue 2 games then just pursue the one.

The only thing I can think is that we want to keep high profile games on the schedule to intice recruits.

if we have a successful enough season, we could get a bowl game under a new NCAA rule. it would be the first ever for our school so I guess the AD is doing what it can to put us in the best possible postion for that.

I have to appologize to charlotte though. this kind of is a kick to the crotch. $60k is $60k, but i won't be surprised if we aren't on any of your christmas card lists.
