I just hope the Memphis athletic ticket office treats the Memphis Highland Hunnert folks better than they have in seasons past. One pouty old guy sat in his assigned seat all the way in the top corner of Sec. 2JJ and, in protest, refused to move down to some much better empty seats with this Highland Hunnert brethren.....tigerjeb

Man the butt hurt on this board would be legendary if Memphis somehow won this game. That being said I don't expect them to, but I doubt it's the cakewalk TG4 is hoping for.

Since our new AD took the job he has announced three new home and home football series...ole miss, UCLA and Bowling Green. These are in addition to home and home deals with Missouri and Kansas. We also have Tennessee coming back to the Liberty Bowl in 2017.

There just isn't any room on the schedule for the Blue Raiders 2015-2017. I won't be surprised if we play again after that.

I don't blame you guys for not wanting to schedule us anymore. If your AD is smart he will schedule teams that you guys can actually be competitive against.

Its hilarious to see some of these people jump on Memphis.
All of the people who are talking mad crap, there athletic programs are nothing compared to Memphis.

One football game wont change that, wake up children.
It humbles me to see y'all get so worked up over us.
No Memphis fan cares to even mention fans of these schools who are talking crap.

Agreed entirely. We have Vandy 2015-2018 anyhow. I'd like to see you guys back on the schedule before the end of the decade, but the series could use a break.

That's funny, the 40,000 Tennessee, Ole Miss and Missouri fans that will fill up the Liberty Bowl for you say the same things about Memphis after beating you on the gridiron.
Jayhawk basketball fans say the same thing when it comes to hoops.
home and homes with "name" teams that come to west Tennessee to recruit players out of there and give the gambling addicts a chance for some 2 dollar blackjack and a trip to Graceland.
You'll move on to supposed bigger and better things, but the bottom line is Memphis football will always be what it is right now, thinking you're as good as the big boys but can't beat UT-Martin, Middle Tennessee and Duke.

What's hilarious is that you actually believe that. I'll gladly put MT's athletic departmentup against the Memphis athletic department any day of the week. I'll grant that Memphis MBB is easily the best individual sport between the two programs, but just as you pointed out that one football game doesn't change much, neither does one sport when discussing athletic departments. In the name of humility I'll even give you guys the nod on overall department based on the merits of your MBB program, but that still doesn't back up your "not even close" claim.

There is some real animostiy around here.
