RE: At Campuses Across the Country, More Reasons Than Ever to Skip the Game
I spoke with a recent female UGA alum, class of 2013, who would go to every game as a student with a handful of her sorority sisters.
She commented on how almost half of the students acted like it wasn't worth their time and effort to go to a free game and care about their school. Many of her sorority sisters couldn't be bothered, even if they were with friends and it was a beautiful day.
I know they're all women and that's a factor, but she said it was a problem with the male students also. I told her there were similar problems at JMU with some students never caring about anything pertaining to the school. I respected her for her pride in UGA and her school.
