Not much to see so far in the NL. Couple of big blow outs.

OUCH! that hurt. Braves got spanked. Lost Home field. Minor has to deliver tonight or its another short one for the Bravos.

(Dan Uggla from the bench: "Hey, guys, I could have struck out against Kershaw too!"

Boston is currently making Tampa wish they'd stayed home. It's 8-2 in the bottom of the 8th. Tampa only has 3 more outs to go...

Yeesh. Postseason's been pretty one-sided so far. Guess that bodes well for Round two.

Braves 4, Dodgers 3 Final. Series tied 1-1.

Man, this won't be easy, but we needed that one heading to LA.

BJ Upton even got to pinch run and earn some of his 12.5 million.

Braves bats are going to need to do more or we might not come back from LA to play.

Red Sox killed the Rays.
Pirates stormed back and beat the Dards to tie their series as well 1-1.
Last game of the night is Tigers-A's. Any predictions?

The bullpen tried very very hard to crap that game away but the Dodgers couldn't string plays together with Braves mistakes.

Mattingly made such a huge mistake throwing Greinke in game 2. In 2010 Matt Cain had a big home/road split, so Bochy made sure all 3 of his postseason starts were in San Francisco. He was clearly a better pitcher than Jonathan Sanchez, but Bochy made the latter the #2 starter. It was a move that paid off brilliantly as Cain didn't give up an earned run in those 3 starts. Greinke is clearly better than Ryu, but flipping them was the logical move. Let's see how much the mistake costs him

In this case, I hope a lot! Go Braves (to LA that is.)

HUGE mistake...

3.20 ERA on the road (which is basically what he did) as opposed to a 2.11 ERA at home. Play to your strengths. Perhaps I exaggerated, but it was a mistake. When you're up 1-0 against a team with issues versus left handed pitching, you throw your lefty and save your amazing home pitcher, for game 3. Although now that I look at it, Ryu had a 2.32 ERA at home so I guess it's a wash.

I'd say that's about all she wrote for the Rays. They now have to rely on Archer and Cobb to bring in back to Boston.

If Ellsbury keeps hitting like he did today the Mets are gonna have to shell out a lot of money

Gotta hand it to gray. A rookie pitching in the biggest game of his life and he dominates. What a great performance, sorry I missed it
