UNC doesn't need to overreact (again) and change coaches. She simply needs to stay the course, and allow Fedora the chance to get his players in, especially at QB (Bryn Renner is not 'his' player), and evaluate him at the end of the '16 season.

At UNC, he will be afforded this opportunity b/c Carolina only cares about Men's Basketball.

Now, UVA...? That's another story...

Like I said he has a 7 year contract.....he will have plenty of time to play with "his" players.
I haven't seen any Carolina alumni on this board calling for Fedora's removal/replacement.

History strongly suggests @UVA will be tougher.

UVA's offense is so bad this year, all GT has to do is play good D and punt on 4th down and score at least 10 points...

PJ's last abortion up there was against a similarly woeful UVA offense.

I'm not ready to jettison Fedora, but I am concerned about the first half of this season. I do believe the second half will be much better (schedule gets easier). I also think we will still make a bowl. It appears the coaching staff severely underestimated a few things:

1) The loss of talent from the offensive line and running back positions.
2) The significant improvement in play by other ACC teams.
3) How bad the gimimicky 4-2-5 defense would get exposed.

You don't keep a coach to save a recruiting class.

London has made zero progress in four years.

UVA will not hire a bubba, country style or fire and brimstone type if they chose to replace london. Look for a coach like the coach from Stanford, or Northwestern, (or the perfect fit if they want to pony up the money (IN WHICH THEY HAVE) is Al Golden.

However, all should know this, UVA has the largest resources in the conference, if they decide as an institution that football is the most critical point for success at the university, they would pony up the $$$$ and hire the best and brightest. The institution with its focus as National academic leader really dont see football as the be all or end all. THey want success, but done t their way.

This is a lesson that Pitt learned a little too late in the hiring of Todd Graham... Paul Chryst and Jamie Dixon however, are also a perfect fit for the Pitt culture and Pittsburgh region.

I know for a FACT that local Western Pennsylvania coaches did not like Graham but Chryst has done a lot in the past year to mend those broken fences.
