Bowling Green @ Miami (OH)
Okay, this game was on one of the ESPN channels last night. The box score for the game reported the attendance at 10,598.

That would mean the stadium would have been about 40% full.

Um....

I noticed the same thing. There were definitely no more than 2000 people there at the start of the game and fewer than 200 at the end, and the 200 included the band and the half asleep cheerleaders.

We're close.

I would have guessed 1500 tops.

The mascots didn't look excited either.

A related article... never trust announced attendance.

Difference between tics sold and actual attendance. Seems they are following the pitt, usf, miami(fl) model on announcing attendance.

Wish UC announced tics sold sometimes.

With the MAC, they hav to do that or they would fall to FCS level.

I can say Miami hasn't had close to averaging 15k a season since the Berger Boy went to the NFL. From the views I saw on the MU-BGSU game, having close to 2k was questionable.

Gotta LOL when CMU guy said that all of the players, band, cheerleaders, and workers were a part of their figures - where the NCAA rule is against that.
