haha partly a stab at myself. I've been called a hipster before. =] But it's true.

Story time. While living in the Outer Banks my friends bar Lucky 12's would serve PBR .50 cent a can. Then one day he comes to us with a sad face... "it's now 1.50." A month later he groaned "sorry guys, it's now 3.00 like the rest." "WTF!" we replied. He retorts "Thanks to the hipsters it's popular now so the distributors are charging us more so we have to raise the price." With a saddened heart I took off my glasses, wiped away the tears on my flannel, pulled on my beard for a second and proclaimed "Tecate it is, sir."

I REFUSE to drink PBR in this city or anywhere. RVA has a much better quality of home grown craft beer selection (i.e. Hardywood, Strangeways, Legend, etc.).

We should probably just change the name of this board and move it to the "Off Topic" section. Just sayin'.

I'll just merge it with the Beer thread in OT.

It took .50 cent PBR to get you to post. We'd get along. I used to be a mainstay at HK on Granby a long time ago.

Welcome! What a worth topic for your first post.

PBR has its merits, but its not the liquid ambrosia that hipsters make it out to be.

Started drinking pbr on tour in the lots. 1 for 2 or 4 for 5 is how we used to hussle it.
