Looking forward to being in the same division with Louisville. It should be good to play each other every year in football as there were some close games. I guess there will also be at least 1 game a year in basketball between the schools. I am not aware of Louisville's past opponents in football but I am guessing that Syracuse probably has played Louisville as much as any other school in the ACC.

Hope you all enjoyed the UC/UL game last night. Nippert was electric. Congrats Cards two straight years in overtime!
Teddy was amazing. One more hope here that The ACC is watching what a great program we have at Cincy and now the stadium gets an 85 million dollar upgrade and expansion. Hope to be invited back to ACC land this week for the Belk Bowl.

Many of us would not be upset to see Cincy coming in as #16 if/when ND becomes a full member.

I'm praying the ACC is smart and much like the UNC/Duke game is a Guaranteed Home and Home in hoops they give the L'ville vs. Orange the SAME EXACT treatment!!

In football we definitely have a nice little rivalry brewing! We still owe you from last year!05-mafia

That would be nice but what I've heard is that VT is most likely headed to the Sun Bowl to play UCLA. Of course that's if all the championship game favorites win this weekend.

If Florida State wins against Duke, Miami or Virginia Tech will be in the Russell or Sun Bowl. If Duke pulls off the upset Clemson will go to the Russell.

Thanks for the info, it's too bad Pitt and Louisville won't be playing more in football (although we are permanent home and home opponents in basketball). Pitt got relatively lucky with the divisions getting long time rivals Syracuse, Miami, and VT annually but I still can't help but think there's a way to reformat the divisions now that Maryland is switching with Louisville to keep up some rivalries.

I'm pretty sure if Duke pulls the upset, that FSU will get a BCS at large and Clemson will be in the Chic-fil-a.

We would have to be in that scenario since nobody other than Duke can pass us in bowl selection.

That said, I don't know how enthusiastic either Clemson or the Chick-fil-a folks would be about it as it would be the third time in two years we have played there.

Going back to the same bowl we played in last year just to play a future conference mate and recent bowl opponent....no thanks.
