...Towson announced that it plans to move up after next week?

Would that make them the next team to receive an opportunity to get out of the Colonal?

Building off of the theoretical posted directly above...

What if ODU football started up in 1909 instead of 2009?

Jack Ankerson would have still been the game-day announcer. 03-old

What if ODU had continued football from 1931?

Quote:William & Mary Norfolk Division Braves played football for eleven seasons (1930-1941) when the university was a two-year school, with a record of 62-19-4. The program was discontinued due to a rule against freshman players and a 10,000 USD debt.

We had joined the A10 in the 90s when they were begging us and JMU to join.

BT was never on the wagon. At least not after his 2nd year here. I can't speak to the 1st two years.

So he doesn't even try.

What if my father and dr. Franklin jones's efforts to get football started in the 80's hadn't been shot down by the president of the university at the time and dr. Jarrett........

Where would we be right now?

Hmmm......

And a limp one at that. What if Molinaro wasn't stuck in Norfolk Va. writing for a Liberal little paper like the Pilot but instead was in his beloved Chapel Hill N.C.Do you think he would be so sour and negative? It is time for Bob to go.

We need Bob M. in Norfolk. He's magical. Everytime he writes something negative about ODU Football, the opposite happens.

Keep it up Bob.

What if bob m loved odu football instead of the caa?
What if he woke up one morning and had figured out that odu football will have a positive impact on the norfolk economy?
What if he thought with his brain instead of what he sits on?

What if harry wasn't our beatwriter? Tragic. He keeps us reading the paper because he does some human interest stories on odu football and sports. If not then all we would have is bob m and ed miller? Thank goodness for harry.

Why such emotional responses to a well thought out, logical analysis. What part of his article do you guys disagree with? You certainly can't argue that C-USA bowl ties in are notable, they are second tier bowl games nobody but the fan base cares about, and we'll more than likely never be in the big bowls. Asking the question, "would you rather be winning a FCS championship or playing in a useless bowl on Monday afternoon before all of 20,000 fans of the 2 teams" is a fair enough question. Don't get me wrong. I like the idea of playing home and homes against Big 5 teams, but that is probably all we'll get out of our move.

it's become so fashionable to knock Molinaro no matter what he writes, by people who have no clue what a columnist is supposed to do -- write his opinion.
