Where are you getting that number? Is that the tickets sold?
The attendance was 45,211 according to the official box score, Charlotte Observer, and ESPN.

The official box score. Scroll down to the bottom for attendance. I'm sure it's tickets sold but then that's all that matters.
You, good sir, have apparently never bought $8 nachos.

You are linking to the BELK Bowl, not the Russell Athletic Bowl.
Sorry, I conflated the two games.

Good win by Navy over MTSU.
Not surprised to see a Rick Cockstill team act like a bunch of thuggish douchebags.

Looks like a typical GT bowl game so far ... with a month to prepare nobody other than Lane Kiffin is fooled by the spread option or the gameday speed of it that is tougher to simulate.

Smh even when Georgia Tech had great field position. Down 16 are we past the danger zone?

This is a joke. Georgia Tech is obviously inferior to like the 10th place SEC team. If Ole Miss had a kicker who could make extra points and 20 yard field goals, this game would be over. Good Lord.

I don't know about inferior. GT has gifted them points too with bad play calling and turnovers.

WHAT WAS THAT play call that resulted in the safety?Paul Johnson does like to get too cute as some times. Give them the safety? That was just a clutter.... SOOOO the ACC is 3-3 in bowls so far, but according to experts we were supposed to be 1-5.

GT never, and I mean NEVER, comes back from down 2 full TDs under Paul Johnson. I turned the game off when they went up two scores with plenty of time left in the 3rd quarter. The outcome was in hand. I turned the UGAg game off after they let UGAg march down the field for 7 before the half. Even up 20-7 at the half, I knew what would unfold based on the last two series of the first half. I can typically tell you the outcome of a GT game by half time. Either the other coach is willing gamble and play man coverage no safety and rush everybody else to blow up the running game ... or they'll lose. The only team that is willing to cheat the run that loses to Paul Johnson is Duke. GT always has 200+ yds passing against Duke and wins. Probably because their defensive line players are the lightest and least talented of anybody we'll play at the FBS level.

Like I said right after I found out the opponent: "Oh joy, we get to lose to another also-ran in the SEC in some highly embarrassing fashion."

In fairness to GT, Ole Miss was underrated going in to this game. They went 7-5 against one of the most murderous schedules. Four of their five losses were to Auburn, Alabama, Missouri, and Texas A/M. their only bad loss was to Mississippi State, but that's a rivalry game on the road and anything can happen in those.
And on the other hand, they beat LSU, and not many teams do that. So they were pretty good, no shame in losing that game.

There is always shame in losing to a football team from Mississippi. To say nothing of a 7-6 record. And blowing a 20 point lead to your rival.

Honestly, both UGa and Ole Miss have better players, but Ga Tech could have beaten both of them with a couple of breaks and be 9-4 instead of 7-6.
