I heard Rich Rodriguez was seriously considering the job and Chad Morris didnt show too much interest. I thought James Franklin would do well there. Narduzzi could be another great assistant coach that turns into a wonderful head coach, I think Jurich knows what he is doing

RichRod apparently is not on the list and with Morris you hear conflicting reports on interest...with Morris it is either very Hot or very Cold...03-confused

Yea thats why I said was seriously considering it, seems Jurich is looking elsewhere. Either way there are some great coordinators out there that would fit great

To me, it depends on whether I thought he'd do it again. You'd have to really know the guy to make that determination (most of us could not).

If he didn't have the baggage from Arkansas and Atlanta it would be a no brainer...but the way he quit on Atlanta and the fact he put Arkansas into a legal bind is troubling.

I really like Morris, love his offense and the fact he is a high energy guy with a innovative offense and a good recruiter. If Jurich hires him I would love to have him bring Jeff Scott with him to be his OC/Recruiting Coordinator...team him if he chooses to keep him with Clint Hurtt....05-stirthepot

How do you know this? Are you close to him personally? History says otherwise. History says he is a wanderer and has a pattern of poor personal character.

As far as second chances? Isn't he on his third chance now?

Since his "indiscretions" , how much have you heard from him? Not much at all. He's keeping a fairly low profile which isn't his past style.

Maybe that has to do with him living in Bowling Green, Kentucky?

Right now the "signs" point to Bobby Petrino...

If Morris leaves Scott will be the Clemson OC. That's been the plan since the day Morris was hired, and Scott has been thoroughly involved in the offensive gameplanning since day one under Morris.

Jeff is a Clemson graduate and his father is now Assistant AD of football recruiting. Other than two years as HC at Blythewood HC and a year at Presbyterian he has been with Clemson since the late 1990's.

I wouldn't be surprised if Morris left if we didn't go after current Richmond OC/QB coach and former Clemson starting QB Brandon Streeter for QB coach/Recruiting Coordinator.

Looks like it is a moot point...here all signs now point to Bob Petrino...but of the candidates he was the one I liked the most.

RE: News & Notes on UofL Coaching Search
When I talked to an Arkansas State official this past week, Chad Morris told us directly that while he wanted to be a HC this year, his family had asked him to stay at Clemson one more year so his daughter could graduate High School.

Obviously Louisville is a much different animal than ASU is, but that might make sense as to why Morris seems to be both hot and cold according to various Twitter reports.
