The luckiest conference?
SEC it is.
There are 7 teams with 7-7 conference record as today. You couldn't see that every day.

RE: The luckiest conference?
I've always wanted to see a conference (in football) have every team go 8-4 in the regular season and 4-4 in conference. Obviously that will never happen but it would be cool...

The 2011 Sun Belt football standings were pretty unique. No ties and if you want to know who won a specific game, no team lost to a team below them in the standings. Just look below each team in the standings to know who they beat.
AState 8-0
WKU 7-1
UL Lafayette 6-2
FIU 5-3
UNT 4-4
ULM 3-5
Troy 2-6
MTSU 1-7
FAU 0-8

Had a stalemate a few years ago when Wisconsin, Sparty, and Ohio State all finished tied for the Big Ten championship.

Same thing happened in the Big East in 2011 & 2012, all were co-Champions:
2011 - WVU, Cincy, and Louisville all 5-2 records (WVU got the BCS spot)
2012 - Louisville, Cincy, Rutgers, Syracuse all 5-2 records (Louisville got the BCS spot)

I'm guessing that this result is probably even rarer than what it appears at first glance.

I've looked through several years of standings from around FBS and haven't found anything similar though now with divisional play in most leagues the chances of it repeating are very slim.

RE: The luckiest conference?
The 1994 Soutwest Conference standings:
TAMU 6-0-1
Texas 4-3
Baylor 4-3
TCU 4-3
Texas Tech 4-3
Rice 4-3
Houston 1-6
SMU 0-6-1
Funny that TAMU's only tie non-win was a tie with an SMU team that only won 1 game all year. However, Texas A&M was under NCAA sanctions, so it was a 5-way tie for first.
