It depend on who cover you, the same goes for every team on each of the sites. Scout is garbage for ECU recruiting info, where S. Igoe is the best when it come to covering ECU on 24/7, he breaks ECU shorties hours before TV news does. He interviews recruits all the time.

Don't care about the football side of things as much as the crime side of things occurring right in my back yard, almost literally. Not good.

Temple lands former c/o 2014 UConn QB commit Logan Marchi, who will be part of our 2015 class. He will be reevaluated by the recruiting services.

Good pickup. Wanted him at Temple. Seems like he was waiting on UCF.

It was selective in missing Kelly since he had no offers from P5 and was only 2 star, seemingly a scholarship reach IMO.

Israel could be a sleeper with his 3 star .82 composite and decent testing skills yet no P5 offers or FBS for that matter. I probably should've have included him as a result, just missed him.

I'm sure that's based on your extensive knowledge of the DeMatha program, like another guy from DeMatha who wasn't much of a recruit, Mr. Brian Westbrook. Kelly had an offer from Toledo, and it's not like recruits aren't allowed to receive offers after they commit.

Bernard Pierce, Brandon McManus, Adrian Robinson, Mo Wilkerson (HS), Tahir Whitehead, Rod Streater, Nate Smith, Robbie Anderson, Kenny Harper, Tyler Matakevich, Kyle Friend, Khalif Herbin, PJ Walker, all only 2* recruits.

Trust the tape. Coach Rhule knows what he's doing.

Cincinnati has gotten 8 commits within the last 10 days, including a 4-star QB.

Now I am wondering to myself what good Temple players were 4/3-stars. Seems like all of our best players have been 2-star

I'm guessing that Steve Conjar was a highly recruited player who happens to be in Temple's HOF. He starred on the 1979 17th nationally ranked team. I'm sure he was the equivalent of a 4 star recruit.

I used to lift at his brother George's Main Street Gym in Middletown, Pa. Much sadder story then Steve, dead at only 49 years old after dealing with drugs, arrest, and jail time.

I believe that I was answering SouthPhillyFall's question/statement not yours. It did help answer his question regardless of what you think. So why throw your two cents in? Who cares?

You did not answer his question, because there were no star ratings in 1979 since there were no sites to rate them...

Yep, never said there was. That's why I said he was equivalent to a 4 star recruit. I'm sure Temple and perhaps other schools thought he was a 4 star recruit in whatever way schools rated prospects back then.
