And I have already said that UCF's win in the Fiesta was something the AAC could definitely lay a claim to. Unlike UConn, UCF was not an already-established football power. They didn't develop their strength in another league because they had no strength.

Plus, whereas UConn was demoted to a weaker basketball conference (AAC is clearly weaker than the old Big East), UCF football was promoted from a lesser football league to a clearly stronger one, and thus one could definitely make the argument that playing in the stronger AAC toughened UCF up for facing an AQ opponent like Baylor in the BCS bowl game.
UCF didn't build up their strength in CUSA? What? This is patently false. UCF transformed it's program under the CUSA banner. Won divisions, championships and bowls plus built facilities over the years to build up to what the team was last year. That was all done mostly under the CUSA banner. Recruiting improving every year - and mostly done with CUSA recruited players. No strength lol....

Let's face it: UCF was nothing before last year. You had One Shining Moment beating an awful Georgia team in a bowl a few years back and that was it.

You like to think that "UCF was nothing before last year". We finished ranked in 2010 after beating that "awful Georgia" team in a bowl game. If UCF was "nothing before last year" then USF has been nothing forever.

That awful Georgia team was .500 in sec play and was averaging over 30 per game. I think they won 4 of the last 6 games. AJ Green was suspended in the beginning of the year when they piled up loses.

UCF FB was 8-0 in the AAC
Baseball is currently in 1st

So out of the 3 major sports, UCF is in 1st in 2 of them.

I like to think it because it is the truth. Other than a Mighty Bowl Win over an awful Georgia team (what where they, 6-6?), your entire football history was zilch.

It took you that long to formulate that response? 03-lmfao
You were bound to sockpuppet a UConn fan eventually. We've already seen you as a Temple and ECU fan.

Well, its not "zilch" anymore. UCF did in one season of AQ status what USF couldn't do in nine.

Has quo-vadis ever explained the source of his bitterness/resentment/hostility about the AAC?

yeah, UCF now enters this new era basically alongside UConn, Cincy, Boise, and NIU as the only G5 teams to have been in a BCS bowl.

I love your very non-descript Uconn name, and your trolling signature. We have been so blessed that you have so recently found us. 07-coffee3
