For my 4,999th post, a note to my CUSA brothers and sisters
Today begins Tulane's last series vs USM in an in conference game. Tulane has been in CUSA since its inception in 1995. With nearly 30 conference championships including basketball, golf, football, tennis; Tulane has enjoyed her time in this league with many friends.
I started posting on CUSA forums, got mod'ed and then moved to AAC but I always consider CUSA forums my home base. If I may continue posting here I'd like to because I consider you guys my E-Friends
Good luck in the future and I'll miss my conference trips to Rice and USM above all :(

Actually JD Tulane ASKED for permission. Kinda like asking a women's father for permission to marry her. You aske...I said No....but you're still gonna marry then?. So why even ask in the first place? Etiquette be damned.

Instead of asking for their permission, one should ask for their blessing.

It's also good to get the permission of the bride to be too. Not necessary, but it helps.

Well for some men it's permission, in their minds.

It defends on your definition of feminism...
If feminism is equal pay for equal work, women in the military, more traditional first and second wave feminism then yes one could call me a moderate feminist.
If it is some kind of more extreme third wave, patriarchy denouncing, feminism where I would suggest anyone that attends a Warren Farrell lecture is a rape apologist, then no. I am not a feminist.
But that is getting us off topic

I was just referring to your statement "Tulane has enjoyed her time in the league" and all the 'asking for hand in marriage' post. I guess it was only funny in my head.
edit: oh, and I didn't say that

Who asks for permission anymore? I scooped my gal up, took her to the church, got married and sent her parents a postcard from our honeymoon in Maui.
kidding of course
