Hence the "ahem" at the reference to "we are done with the acc the way I see it".

AFAIU, all in-conference play is finished for the 2013/14 athletic season, and its understandable for a Maryland fan to feel that they said their goodbyes to the ACC with their last game in as conference-sponsored competition, even if the legal transition is July 1.

Yowsa, Indiana v Stanford, 3-3 at the bottom of the 7th Inning Stretch ... Indiana with narrow lead until Stanford tied in the 6th.

... Indiana regains the lead in the top of the 8th, 4-3, but then with a 2 run walk-off homer in the bottom of the 9th, Stanford wins 5-4 and advances to the Super-regional Best of Three series against Vanderbilt.

One last Big-Ten-To-Be school in the race for the College World Series ... game times & broadcasts set:

Quote:No. 3 UVA (47-13) will host Maryland in a best-of-three series running from Saturday through Monday. The series at Davenport Field in Charlottesville is sold out. All three games will be televised on ESPN2. Games against the Terrapins on Saturday and Sunday are scheduled to start at noon. If Monday's game is necessary, it's scheduled for a 4 p.m. start.

Sadly I don't have control of the remote control on summer weekend afternoons (at least, not for the one hooked up to cable TV), but I'll be checking in on the ESPN GameCast.
