2014-15 Big Ten Olympic Sports
Wrestling. Women's and Men's Soccer. Volleyball. Field Hockey. Swimming and Diving. Anything that isn't basketball, football, hockey, baseball or lacrosse, which figure to be the sports getting most of the attention here.

Things are quiet for now but will ramp up again by the end of July and into August.

Here are the volleyball match-ups for this coming season:
http://www.bigten.org/blog/2014/03/2014-...s-set.html

Figures to be between Nebraska and Penn State for the title. Those two look to have the strongest teams again. Anyone else to look for to surge?

Well I can say this much, Rutgers will be competitive in wrestling, men's and women's soccer and track and field right out of the gate. Women's basketball and men's and women's LAX will also be sports we're immediately competitive in.

RE: 2014-15 Big Ten Olympic Sports
Big Ten play started today with two soccer games, both involving Wisconsin. In the women's game, they won 2-1 against Michigan State in overtime. However, the men didn't fare so well, dropping a 3-2 score against Rutgers, also in overtime. The Iowa women's soccer team won their Big Ten opener for the first time since 2007, beating Illinois 2-0.
