Overall there's less discussion topic wise here compared to a few other boards but the ratio of adults to adolescents is higher here, at least in maturity level.

They tried to run me off the board too when SU and Pitt came public. I told them that I was there almost from the beginning and had helped that board grow and that I would leave when I was good and ready to leave. I left when I was good and ready, when a lot of undesirables started posting over there and starting bringing the board down. Its sad because it was a great board.

Just remember where Louisville came from not just now but 25 years ago.

I actual wanted the old Big East to add TCU, Memphis and East Carolina to get 12. However, when West Virginia and TCU bail to the B12 and Notre Dame, Pitt and Cuse headed to the ACC it was time to look out for Louisville. Memphis was mis-managed pure and simple, we passed you. I still like Memphis and Cincinnati but not enough to suffer with you. End of day Louisville has bills to pay and the AAC's compensation sucks!

Who said we were suffering? I'm not nor is The University of Memphis. There are reasonable conversations on our board. Most of the so called "jealousy" stems from when a Louisville fan comes and makes a a*& of themselves putting everyone's school down because they are in The American. There are some ECU fans who talk; however, it is good to see them excited that they are coming to The American. I know this is a ACC board and I will probably get told that; however, I'm not here starting crap or anything like that. Still even on this board putting down another conference that is trying to better themselves is pretty childish.

25 years is a long time ago. Maybe if Memphis hadn't sit and done nothing, you might be in a P5 conference as well. I am so glad to be done with the AAC or whatever crap they want to call it. We are now in a league where we belong and fans can be excited again,

Did nothing? That is far from the course. If you mean not pouring resources in the football program, I agree. I wouldn't call the conference "crap". I think the results in the 2 top revenue sports over last season would agree.

I tell ya what... I was off that board within 48 hours of Pitt being invited to the ACC. I posted in various threads since then no doubt but I certainly wasn't a regular. Kinda sucks because me, you, bit, and various others helped build that place to what it became. But there is a time to just move on. UL won't be playing there this fall so what exactly is there to chat about unless UL is brought up? Feel me?

That how I saw it...after the 2014 NFL Draft-(in which Louisville had three 1st Rounders) there was nothing to post about for myself anymore on the AAC Board...we no longer play them and any sport on a regular basis and now even the AAC Logos are gone from our Athletic Facilities....

I agree. Just not worth posting over there. I haven't posted over there for a long time, and I'm quite content. Trolling the AAC fans is a waste of time. You're better off talking about sports related topics.

I have No problem with any of the AAC Board. Enjoyed some of the Heated posts on there even made some friends with a few UCF and UConn poster Guys that once seemed Hostile towards Louisville. Always enjoyed the friendly Jousting with Memphis fans and loved the Renewed playing with Memphis. Houston fans seemed pretty good and Knowledgeable about things and Liked the Cincinnati and USF fans. But Time to Move on . Wish Them Well . Not a Bad conference.

Agreed. That change to the conference logo was not worth making. The conference should demand their money back from the marketing firm that came up with that.

I'm glad it was you all that made it up to the big time. Memphis, louisville and cincy clung together for a long time waiting for a break. Nothing against uconn or anyone else but if not memphis then I can honestly say YOU BETTER WIN IT ALL!!! For years it took us 3 to make our conference somewhat legit now show the acc why. Congrats

UCF fan here. It was only one season with Louisville, but it was fun. I won't throw barbs. Good luck in the ACC. Punch FSU in the mouth and we'll be all good.
