Gathering from Twitter that they are trying to get a lot of recruits in for the Richmond game. It should make for a good recruiting weekend.

Offers: Yale, Penn, Holy Cross, Lafayette, William and Mary, Davidson, and Stonybrook.
Had spring recruiting visits from Ohio State, Michigan State, Duke, Northwestern, Alabama, North Carolina, Yale, Penn, Cornell, Dartmouth and Stanford. In senior season, received offers from Army, Cornell, Dartmouth, and Colgate.

I have to think we're the best football program on the list of offers. Hopefully our mix of football and academics wins this kid. We have a need for WR, so to me (no bias of course!) it seems like a natural fit.

RE: 2015 Football Recruiting Thread
We have one quarterback thus far in next fall's recruiting class. Let's hope more are on the way...we need all we can get.

Cluley remains unproven as the real answer at quarterback; certainly not in the league with those fine qbs at Villanova, Richmond, UNH and JMU who beat us this year--and there are some who believe he'll sit if Mosley is back at 100%.

So it behooves us to recruit more.

Cluley is not unproven. He had a very respectable rookie campaign, showed good improvement and good intangibles (leadership, toughness, etc.). He has all the needed physical tools as well. Its ridiculous to compare a sophomore making his first starts to a group of junior and senior starters that all have multiple years of starting experience. The UR and JMU QBs were IA transfers, the VU QB is one of the best in the nation and may be the best to ever play at VU. Cluley doesn't have to be all-American, he just needs to make the type of mental improvements you would expect from a 2nd year starter.

You're about the only one that thinks Mosley is the magical answer at QB just because the OC compared his throwing motion to Michael Vick. There's a lot more to playing QB than arm strength. I hope Mosley gets healthy and is at least able to compete for the job, but I would be pretty surprised if he was the game 1 starter next year. Despite two seasons on campus he's barely taken a snap under center.

I agree. Watching the tape I thought he looked better at DT than on the OL and was faster than I expected.

RE: 2015 Football Recruiting Thread
Cluley had an 11/4 TD/INt ratio. That's pretty solid, and he tends to not turnover the ball. His biggest issues IMO were"

1 - His unwillingness to run the ball

2 - He backpeddles under pressure instead of stepping up. Thus, he had a lot of 10 yard sacks instead of shorter sacks.

3 - Overthrows

But all in all, for a first season starter, he was fine. Be interesting to see how he progresses though, especially since we lose our two best WRs.
