The Meadowlands are less than 4 hours from Syracuse and and its part of the NYC Metro.

Yeah, but you aren't part of the NY metro area, and I thought that was the point of the post - teams coming in from the outside and playing in areas that aren't their home turf.....

Well if it bothers you, maybe you can have your Rutgers adm schedule some games at Ralph Wilson Stadium (Buffalo Bills Stadium). That'll teach SU for infringing on your turf.

Doesnt bother me, just making the comparison that the ACC does the same thing. Besides, we can fill our own stadium, no need to play a "home" game more than 3 hours away and rely on the opponent to sell most of the tickets for us

If you look at the attendance for those games that SU has played in the past at The Meadowlands, you would see that its very close to what we get at the Dome for a high level opponent. This game works for SU's marketing campaign. Rutgers is far from filling its stadium. If it doesn't bother you, then why are you on an ACC Board talking attendance smack?

Just participating in discussion didn't realize this was "members only". You Syracuse fans (well maybe just you) are a touchy bunch, perhaps a little insecure? As far as attendance, like I said, most of those fans at the meadowlands aren't yours.

You're calling me touchy? You are on an ACC Board complaining about SU playing a game in NJ, lol. Lets continue this conversation on the smack board.

I'm not complaining about SU playing in the meadowlands. I just thought it was ironic that you ACC guys were complaining about outside teams playing in Charlotte. I just pointed out that you (the ACC) do the same thing. Your the one who took offense and threw the comment out there about RU playing in Buffalo - as I said - Touchy and insecure....

Im not the only one being negative, You through out a couple of gems yourself:

"Besides, we can fill our own stadium, no need to play a "home" game more than 3 hours away and rely on the opponent to sell most of the tickets for us"

You know what they say about glass houses dont you?

And about being touchy and insecure, why is a Rutgers fan on an Acc board complaining about SU playing games in NJ and talking attendance smack and derailing threads?

Once again, i did not complain about your schools need to play home games in nj. I pointed out how ironic it was to me that ACC fans were complaining about teams coming into thier areas to play games, yet the ACC does the same thing using your school as the example. Only when i got the smart azzz remark (as i should have expected from a saracuse fan) did i say anything about your schools inability to put your own fans butts in seats and outdraw an opponent at your own home game. Talking to you is like talking to a brick wall, you are incapable of a meaningful conversation because your point of view is skewed by orange juice in your veins. So rest assured, i wont be responding to you on this board any longer, since apparently only ACC folks are welcome here (guess its easier for you to keep your head buried in the sand when the story is only one sided). By the, I know your going to have a hard time swallowing this, but technically rutgers has just as many NC's as syracuse does. In fact we have the first one.....Enjoy the tundra and the ACC.
