Even with 4 teams I think it's just a matter time before CFP is bigger than Super Bowl! By the time it goes to 8 teams it will for sure be bigger than Super Bowl.

Yeah, the Super Bowl has only 2 teams. The CFP already has 4 teams. Its already TWICE as big!

Oh wait that's probably not you what you meant.

The NFL ratings usually dwarf the BCS championship, I dont think they'll surpass the NFL anytime soon.

It never will be. The Super Bowl is a cultural event as much as it is a sports event. Americans overseas get together to watch it even if they'd never watch it here, people turn in for the commercials, etc. The only CFP championship is just a championship. The old bowls themselves do have some mystique (especially the Rose), but don't have the championship aspect.
