well, as her arms look like they could feed a family of 4 for a year, I'd say yes.

That's tacky, imo. She's not exactly a huge girl. And even if she was no one is obligated to try to date her.

I have very little patience for fat people. I haven't had candy or dessert in over a year and I constantly make sure i watch what I eat. And then I see people stuffing their faces with all manner of processed food and it pisses me off. And don't go thinking I'm sexist, believing that this only applies to women, because I feel the same way about fat males. I have an uncle who's a disgusting pig. He no longer sleeps in his bedroom because he can't make it up the stairs.
And please don't say she shouldn't be ashamed of the body god gave her. Because that isn't the body god gave her, it's the body high fructose corn syrup gave her.
To give you a better insight into my line of thought: I believe that parents letting their kids drink soda is borderline child abuse.

I'd actually like to have an adult conversation on this topic, as I think it's a serious problem in this country (and becoming so abroad).

was waiting for someone to say that. Congratulations you win.
I'm open to it. I don't need to use the type of language I used previously. But regardless, I think a conversation needs to be had. So if anyone would like to speak on it, I'll certainly use less acerbic language
If I may ask this question (and feel free not to answer), are you overweight?

BTW, I know plenty of adults who hold the same opinion. Just because it isn't your opinion, doesn't mean it isn't prevalent among adults. I just think our country is obsessed with being tolerant, when IMO what we really need is less toleration. I don't mean we need more government restrictions, I just think we as a people shouldn't just tolerate everything. It simply validates people's poor decisions and makes them feel better about themselves, when really they should be feeling worse. My point is, a lot of people share my opinion on overweight people, but peer pressure prevents them from speaking up.
I'm not sure you realize how many people are sickened when they see grossly overweight people walking past them.

Obesity is a problem in America. Any doctor will tell you that. But what else do you expect when fast food commercials dominate advertising space, the FDA approves acceptable levels of numerous carcinogens as safe in our food, we add coloring to make our food look more appealing, add steroids to animal feed to make them fatter and more profitable for the farmers, and numerous other unhealthy ways to make food more appealing to the majority of Americans?

I'm with BucFyre. She has an attractive face and looks like she has some class in the photo. In terms of the heavy scale compare these two:

I am thinking about giving up sugar for a while. How hard was it, and what did you feel like after you went without it for a while?

I have pretty good self control (as long as I'm going completely cold turkey), so it wasn't too difficult. For the first week or so you definitely feel a constant desire for some twizzlers, or Edy's Mint Chocolate Chip, but as long as you eat a proper diet free of processed foods you'll do fine. Make sure you use healthy foods to keep yourself full, cuz when you're hungry at odd hours you'll be more likely to relapse.
I think one important thing to remember is that it shouldn't be about losing weight, but rather an investment in your overall health. When you remember that you have a responsibility to your body and to the happiness of people who care about you, it'll make everything easier.

I feel you. My dinner last night was some tilapia with sauteed onions, both cooked in coconut oil. I also added a baked potato and steamed string beans. After dinner i have a few squares of high quality 85% dark chocolate. not only was it all healthy, but it was delicious too.
