I'm headed to the game today - weather is cool (mid 50s) but sunny skies. Should be a good crowd (for a while anyway).
Go Huskies!
It really is a shame that Cinci can't draw fans,i'm sure their will be close to 40K at the Rent.

I don't know why it was necessary to take a cheapshot at Cincinnati, but I would hope you would hve 40,000 fans since you don't have to compete with the Bengals and Ohio State. Either way, I think UC did a pretty good job drawing vs Rutgers.

Our QB is 1-AA garbage. We had TWO chances to score TD's there, and failed.
Still 7-0.

Caulley+Nuzie=10-3 UConn.
We are playing hard-however this game shouldn't be close. UC is clearly not playing very well.
Grutza is hurt.

This is reminding me of the Akron game where UC started out slow, and then the defense settled into a rhythm and UC took off from there. Hopefully things will work out like that.

If our coach would have started Nick Davila, who is a passing threat, UC would be in better shape. For some reason he loves starting Grutza, who presents very little, if any, passing threat.

NO doubt! We need Davila in NOT Grutza...Grutza gives the other team a chance to stack the box because we don't stretch the field with Grutza...
Let Davila play!
Our D has come up time and again this year with a big play, (fumble recovery, interception for TD, etc.) we need this to happen today to turn the momentum. I think if UC gets the momentum, they can create some breathing room against UCONN...and win this one going away.
If not, it's going to be a tight game the rest of the way....
Go Cats!!!!!!

Amazing how your running game looks when you have a QB who can actually throw the ball down the field.

The announcers are screaming at the res or that. Big East refs are TERRIBLE. MikeyT better step on it. That is the kind of call you apologize or after the game. What a joke.

How could you say that lmfao
Nice stop by the UConn defense. We might actually be good next year. Cincy should be a beast. Why oh why did Grutza start?
