This conference is going to be all right!
I know we're going to hear people say that Cincinnati and South Florida wins hurt the conference, but I'm looking at the bigger picture. This conference has a ton of talent, can play with anyone in the country, and this will help recruiting. We're easily meeting all BCS criteria, and if Louisville runs the table we will still have a Top 10 team. If Rutgers beats West Virginia we would have another Top 10 team, either way we will end the season with 3 Top 25 teams. Credibility, shmelibity, the Big East is going to be fine!

Crossing my fingers that you're right, because South Florida is definitely a Top 25 team. 8 wins and a win on the road against a Top 10 team. The icing on the cake would be South Florida ending in the Top 25 and Cincinnati getting at least one Top 25 vote. That would make the conference look a LOT better!

Wish they hadn't lost to Kansas 03-puke but, no way they would now.

USF is top 25 based on what? We have the same record in the same conference and we hammered them. And we also boast a win against a top 10 school.

I think UC and USF are both top 25 caliber but there's no way they should be ranked ahead of us.

What helps USF is that they have 8 wins and beat a Top 10 team on the road. They're also coming off a bowl season last year, I think that is what played a big part in Rutgers getting that national push and, as a result, a spot in the Top 25.

BE has had a great year. I think the conference has some depth. WV has faded, Rutgers and UL now can get the BCS bid, but just one. WV isn't even gonna play on New Years day after all the national title game hype. They could finish 4-3 in the BE and 9-3 overall.

Disagree a 1 loss UL and a BE champ RU get two BCS bids for the conference.

The thing about this conference is that every team is striving to get their football team to the top.

Yes, you can say every football team in the country wants to be good, but they don

I agree. Especially since 4 of Louisville's 5 OOC opponents are bowl-eligible and all likely going to a bowl game. They're also in 2nd place in the Big East and could finish in a tie for first.

USF is a pretty solid team... but not top 25...

You are so wrong--since the UCF game---USF has gotten alot better--I saw them in person and they are legit Top 20-30.

At 8-4 I can make a better case for them being a Top 25 team then Hawaii, Clemson (they're gone anyway now), California, BYU and that overrated fraud Boston College!
