First chance for our program to get a revenge win. The Eagles gave us our first loss ever last year ending 64 years of being undefeated!

We had 500+ yards of offense in that game but it meant nothing since we turned the ball over 7 times including QB Matt Johnson passing it to the Eagles instead of us 5 times.

Keys to the game:

• Don't turn the ball over
• Don't make bad throws
• Establish the run early
  

I feel somewhat optimistic about this game just because we had no problems moving the ball against them last year. As long as we don't turn it over a lot again this year, we should be OK.

I like your chances in this game. You've improved since last year and it is time to establish the trend of onward & upward.

I was impressed with Central's size on both of the lines….Not the most athletic dudes but they do have some beef in the trenches. Their secondary is probably their best unit and they were able to play some tight man coverage against ECU at times, we still completed on them but there guys were usually there and contested the throw. They also have one little receiver that has a lot of speed and is pretty shifty as well…He also returns punts.

I have no clue about Charlotte as I have not see you guys play but if you manage to pull out this game on the road it will show some real progress from season one to season two…Good Luck tomorrow, I am going to try and watch this game if the Wife does not have plans for me tomorrow evening.

I like Charlotte's uniforms

I think we'll hang for three quarters but the experience and redshirt factor will catch up to us in the forth.

Of all of the lower-tier programs ODU scheduled during the early years, I enjoyed NCCU the most. Their fans travelled well and they gave us a spirited game in Norfolk. On our return trip to Durham, they packed and served meals for each of our players as they loaded onto the bus home.

Pretty classy in my book. I root for their success, as they appear to have a nice fanbase and one that represents the university well.

I think you win this one, but I hope good years for NCCU. They represent what I really liked about 1-AA football.

The Charlotte School System has some power house high schools. I figure they will get more than their fair share of local players that are highly rated recruits.

Charlotte up 20-0 with a big stop for the defense on 4th down.
