Everybody around ECU wins this week while ECU sits home. Outta sight, outta mind. I wouldn't be surprised to see them slip to 20th or so.

I would guess ECU stays at 18th +/- 1 spot. I could maybe see Utah or Nebraska passing us after decent wins. I'm guessing Oklahoma State is going to be unranked or at least fall past us. Interesting to see what they do with Oklahoma. I could see them being like the spot ahead of us. I kind of doubt they will fall past us because of their big name and only losing by a point to #14. WVU and Duke are the only OTR teams you could even make an argument for. No way Duke is going to jump that many spots for beating UVA (even though I think they deserved to be ranked already). WVU has 2 losses but who knows where they end up after beating #4

No, OK State lost, Okie lost, WVU may move up past us, Arizona state will. I think we end up sixteenth in both.

Not really sure why they would move Nebraska up that much for beating a pretty mediocre Northwestern team, but oh well.

The two AP ballots I've seem had us 23 and 21st, but we moved up in both of those ballots.

We dropped because Cincy held SMU to 3 points, while their 4th string QB dropped 24 on us.

Only 4 teams fell. Three losers and idle ECU. Everyone else gained.

Were going to have to do censored things to UConn this week to make up for the past two weeks

Just like we slipped a few when idle so will Marshall. No worries as long as we win out.

For AP, maybe. But we got punished for that last week. Why in the world would we keep being punished for one game? And it would take many people to keep doing it each week. Being idle hurt us when most everyone else played and won. That is all, IMO. As another poster stated, the same could happen to Marshall on their bye week. Our only enemies are ourselves and Marshall. Not too worried about Marshall if we do what we need to do going forward.
